You will provide visible, values‑based leadership, ensuring high‑quality inpatient care and a recovery‑focused therapeutic environment. The role includes managing daily ward operations such as staffing, patient flow and clinical supervision, while supporting continuous improvement and evidence‑based practice. Interviews to be held on 16/9/2026 Main duties of the job Provide safe, high‑quality leadership and management of St Caradog Ward. Oversee assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care. Coordinate and lead the ward team and support staff development. Manage daily operations including patient flow and staffing. Ensure effective communication across MDTs and external agencies. Implement clinical governance and Health Board policies. Ensure systems for supervision, reflective practice and evidence‑based care. Lead service improvement and performance reviews. Manage ward budgets and physical resources. Support training, learning and staff induction. Communicate complex information with patients, families and carers. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
