Ward Manager, May Ward

To work according to the Code and within Trust policies. To be accountable for the twenty four hour care delivery and management of the ward, including the supervision of students. To provide a clear focus for clinical leadership and be responsible for ensuring the provision of a high standard of holistic, patient-centred care To be accountable for co-ordinating patient care, the management of resources and performance of staff Work in close conjunction with Matron / Senior ward team / Practice Educator/ Learning Development Teams Acts as a role model and resource, providing information and promoting high standards of patient care, whilst working closely with other professionals. Monitors and maintains acceptable standards of care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team. Participate in both clinical and organisational audit to continually evaluate the effectiveness of the service
