Role Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing & Business Development professional to lead and support the integrated global Corporate practice group. The role focuses on planning and delivering business development activity that supports the group’s strategic priorities, working closely with partners and the global practice and sector marketing team.
This is a senior, collaborative role with responsibility for shaping and delivering BD initiatives across multiple channels, ensuring activity is well‑planned, coordinated and aligned to wider firm objectives.
What You’ll Do
You’ll lead and support business development activity for the Corporate practice group, including:
Leading and developing a Business Development team supporting the groupOwning business planning and budget management for BD initiativesBuilding and maintaining effective BD infrastructure and processesSupporting partners on pitches and proposals, from strategy through to deliveryPlanning and delivering campaigns, events and spotlight initiativesDriving client targeting activity in line with agreed prioritiesManaging communications and PR activity relevant to the groupCoordinating legal directory and awards submissions
What You’ll Bring
You’ll bring strong experience in marketing and business development within a professional services environment, along with:
Experience of practice group and sector marketing, including pitching and campaignsConfidence managing budgets and translating strategy into practical activityThe ability to build effective working relationships with partners, colleagues and external suppliersClear and confident written and verbal communication skillsStrong numerical and analytical capability, with the ability to present complex information clearlyA proactive, organised approach and a genuine interest in supporting business growth
