Care Home Assistant

Care Home Assistant (Non Sponsored) We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Carers to join our clients care team in a 30+ Bed care Home.. Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week Sponsorship: Not available Roles & Responsibilities: Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Help residents with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their comfort and safety. Administer medications as directed and maintain accurate medication records. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents. Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing staff. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including tidying rooms and communal areas. Participate in care planning and attend staff meetings as required. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for residents. Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines. Requirements: Previous experience in a Care Home or healthcare role is preferred. A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is an advantage. Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care.
