This opportunity suits an experienced GP who is confident managing a broad patient caseload while delivering safe, high-quality primary care within a well-organised clinical environment. You will deliver a balance of routine and urgent appointments, supported by efficient administrative systems and a collaborative clinical team. The practice offers structured clinics, clear daily workflows and reliable session planning to ensure manageable and productive working days. Key Responsibilities Delivering same-day and pre-booked GP appointments Assessing and managing both acute and long-term conditions Undertaking telephone consultations and clinical triage Prescribing and reviewing medications safely Reviewing test results, referrals and follow-up actions Recording consultations accurately on the clinical system Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team Requirements GMC-registered General Practitioner Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List Recent UK primary care experience Strong clinical judgment and risk management skills Confident using EMIS, SystmOne or equivalent systems Valid medical indemnity and Enhanced DBS Working Pattern Flexible ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions Morning and afternoon clinics available Long-term and short-term bookings offered How to Apply To apply, email solomon@locumsfirst.co.uk, call 07494 675118, or apply directly through our website.
