About The Role UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Highpoint, a category C Prison located in the village of Stradishall in Suffolk. The Primary Care team consists of a team of 15 which include Senior Primary Care Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Non-Medical Prescribers. Highpoint is spilt into 2 sites, the North Building has around 390 males and the South Building has around 950 males. Both sites have designated Healthcare Departments which you will be based in. Free on-site gym.Free parking.Career Development / Training opportunities . Hours 37.5 hours a week working Monday-Friday,7.45am-6:15pm. Including weekends, hours 8:00am-18:00pm Please note transport by car is recommended due to location of the prison. Salary This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary between £51,643 - £58,012 per annum- depending on experience. What you'll be doing As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will Provide clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams.Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required.Work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high quality clinical service for patients. Ensure that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.Drive forward Clinical projects Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence.Clinical Lead you will coach, line manage and develop clinician staff; support and contribute in undertaking audits and governance and contribute to developing and reviewing clinical/non clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site.Chair and facilitate specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners, provide clinical supervision (training available) and carry our investigations locally and for the wider region.
