Key Responsibilities As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant A Special Needs Teaching Assistant provides both classroom and one-on-one support to help students stay focused and engaged.As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant you will adapt learning materials and activities to meet the unique needs of students, including those with SEN such as autism or ADHD.A Special Needs Teaching Assistant collaborates with the class teacher to tailor learning strategies.As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant you will offer emotional support, boosting confidence and encouraging self-esteem.Special Needs Teaching Assistants track and monitor progress, working closely with the school\'s SENCO to develop and review individualised support plans.
