Lecturer in English £21,998 - £38,447 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience) 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year Permanent About the Role Deliver engaging GCSE English and Functional Skills lessons that inspire and motivate learners to achieve their full potential. Provide outstanding teaching, learning and assessment to oversee learner progress and success. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement. Work cooperatively within a supportive team to share best practice and enhance the learner experience. Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Support excellent learner outcomes by helping students develop their skills, confidence and qualifications. About You Hold, or be willing to work towards, a PGCE teaching qualification or equivalent Possess a degree or equivalent in relevant subject area Is passionate about helping young people succeed. Can inspire and motivate learners from a range of backgrounds. Has experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English (or transferable experience).
