Position Overview ReefPoint Group is seeking Data Scientists and Senior Data Analysts to support advanced analytics, decision support, and mission-focused data initiatives for federal clients. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex problems using data and translating analytical findings into meaningful operational insight. We are seeking candidates who can work across the full analytics lifecycle — from understanding business and mission needs to analyzing data, developing models, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Successful candidates will bring strong analytical thinking, experience working with complex datasets, and the ability to support decision-making in fast-paced and mission-driven environments. What You'll Do Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify patterns, trends, and operational insightsDevelop analytical models and data-driven recommendations to support mission and business objectivesSupport predictive analytics, statistical analysis, and advanced analytical effortsCollaborate with stakeholders to understand operational questions and translate them into analytical solutionsDevelop dashboards, visualizations, and decision-support products where appropriateClean, validate, and prepare data to support high-quality analysisCommunicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiencesSupport data modernization and analytics initiatives within federal environmentsContribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and analytical best practices Requirements Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Public Health, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, analytics, or data science rolesExperience using analytical tools or languages such as Python, R, SQL, or comparable technologiesExperience analyzing and interpreting complex datasetsStrong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in client-facing and cross-functional environments Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting federal agencies including VA, DoD, DHA, or civilian agenciesExperience with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning techniquesExperience with Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization platformsExperience supporting healthcare, operational, or mission-focused analyticsExperience working with cloud or modern analytics environmentsExperience supporting AI/ML initiatives or advanced analytics environmentsExperience working in Agile or DevSecOps environmentsPublic Trust or security clearance eligibility or active clearance
