Interim Financial Reporting Accountant

Interim Financial Reporting Accountant role with our Fife based client supporting the Lead Financial Reporting Accountant. This role is for a 12-month period to support the implementation of a new ERP System. The key responsibilities for this role are: Assist with the production of month-end and year-end reporting Production of balance sheet reconciliation Analyse and document current financial processes Assist in identifying any gaps within data which could impact the process of automation to the new ERP system Support in the analysis of data and assist in identifying solutions to any integrity issues Develop a clear understanding of solution design proposed by implementation partners Assist in the testing of the new ERP system before the go live date Support in the training of non-finance teams in the use of the new ERP system Ad hoc support as required To apply you will be a Qualified, Part-Qualified or “Qualified by Experience” Accountant with a good understanding of internal financial controls. You will be a logical thinker with the ability to prioritise workload and be comfortable with managing and changing priorities. You will be a confident communicator able to liaise with key stakeholders. This role will start in October and support a hybrid working model. Salary £35,000 - £42,000 p.a. dependant on experience.
