MARKETING EXECUTIVE (Campaigns, Operations and Digital)
Wansbroughs is seeking a proactive and organised Marketing Executive to support the delivery of our marketing and business development plans.
This is a varied and hands-on role, responsible for coordinating marketing campaigns, supporting business development initiatives, managing digital marketing activity and ensuring the smooth delivery of events and marketing operations.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Business Development and fee-earners across the firm, the successful candidate will play a key role in helping deliver measurable marketing activity that supports both departmental and firmwide objectives.
This role has a strong focus on campaign delivery, marketing operations, events and digital activity and is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next phase of Wansbroughs’ marketing function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Management & Business Development Support
Take ownership of the delivery of agreed marketing campaigns and business development initiatives. Responsibilities include:
Develop campaign plans and delivery schedules
Coordinate campaign activity across departments
Manage timelines, actions and follow-up activity
Coordinate campaign stakeholders and contributors
Work with fee-earners to develop campaign content
Support campaign measurement and reporting
Monitor progress against objectives
Make recommendations for improvement
Digital Marketing
Manage social media content and scheduling
Monitor social media performance
Assist with digital marketing campaigns
Coordinate email marketing activity
Support SEO initiatives
Work with freelance digital specialists on website and SEO projects
Produce basic performance reports
Website Management
Publish and update website content
Upload articles and news stories
Maintain staff profiles
Ensure content remains accurate and up to date
Support website audits and content reviews
Assist with future website redevelopment planning
Events & Client Engagement
Coordinate client and referrer events
Manage invitations and bookings
Coordinate event logistics
Support webinars and online events
Liaise with venues and suppliers
Manage attendee communications
Attend events and represent the firm
Assist with event reporting and evaluation
Marketing Operations
Support implementation of marketing tools and systems
Maintain marketing databases and mailing lists
Coordinate reporting and campaign tracking
Assist with marketing process improvements
Support future CRM and marketing technology developments
Manage marketing calendars and project plans
Support Marketing Committee reporting
Communications & Content
Draft newsletters and marketing communications
Support PR activity
Support annual Legal 500 submission
Coordinate content across digital platforms
Develop marketing collateral where required
Maintain marketing templates and resources
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 2-3 years’ marketing experience.
Experience delivering marketing campaigns.
Experience managing websites and digital content.
Experience managing social media channels.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Strong written communication skills.
Good understanding of marketing analytics and reporting.
Strong Microsoft 365 skills.
Experience using AI productivity tools (such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or equivalent) to improve efficiency and support marketing execution.
Desirable
Professional services experience.
Legal sector experience.
Experience with Metricool or similar social media management platforms.
Experience with CRM or marketing automation platforms.
CIM qualification (or working towards).
Experience integrating AI tools into marketing workflows.
Understanding of SEO, GEO and AI search optimisation.

What Success Looks Like
Within the first 12 months, the Marketing Executive will:
Deliver regular marketing reporting, website updates, newsletters and social media activity accurately and consistently.
Successfully plan and deliver client and referrer events.
Deliver Family and Contentious Probate campaigns.
Provide consistent delivery of social media, content and events.
Improve campaign reporting and visibility.
Identify and implement AI-enabled process improvements.
Demonstrate reduction in manual marketing administration through technology and automation.
Receive positive feedback from departments and stakeholders.
Salary: In line with experience.
Hours: Flexible working, ideally full-time (35 hours per week). However, for the right candidate, we would consider 25-30 hours per week worked over 4 or 5 days (Monday to Friday).
Due to the nature of the role, there will be occasions when attendance at events and client hospitality activities requires work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends.
