Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver-Early AM shift & PM Shift-Split shifts -Need to based in Crawley

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver- for the morning and evening shift to join our busy warehouse sortation- a Forklift License is a requirement. You will work directly with the AM Manager to structure and maintain the warehouse on a daily basis. This is a hands-on role and you will be getting involved with the day to day duties, with the other Warehouse Operatives, to make sure targets are met to the high standards we set. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: - Ensure that all trunks are in and unloaded on time with the forklift provided. -Assist the sortation team on the sort once all loading unloading on the forklift is complete. -Scan the belt, Unload freight on to the belt or assit with putting parcels into designated routes. · Assist the morning and evening team to fulfil required criteria (including drivers/warehouse etc). · Liaise with other APC depots regarding delivery issues, via telephone and or email. · Collate “pickup request” collections and raise discrepancy sheets for evening shift. · Develop and maintain positive customer relationships. · To carry out other tasks that may be required by the company from time to time. -Ensure that all trunks are in and loaded on time with the forklift provided on the PM.
