CNC 5Axis Machinist/ Toolmaker/ CAM Programmer Preci-Spark is looking to recruit for this role to join our existing team at our Coalville Facility, a fast-paced, target-driven precision engineering environment. Preci-Spark is recruiting a highly experienced and driven CNC Machinist / CAM Programmer to join our cutting-edge facility in Coalville, Leicestershire. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for a machinist with a strong background in 5-axis mill/turn machining, toolmaking, and CAM programming — ready to excel in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Set, operate, and program a wide variety of CNC machines — primarily Mazak and Mori-SeikiSet, operate and program WEDM machines – primarily SodikWork extensively on 5-axis mill/turn machining centresDevelop efficient CAM programs for high-precision componentsManufacture bespoke tooling, jigs, and fixturesMeet quality and delivery targets in a fast-moving production settingPerform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipmentCollaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve machining challenges and improve processesUpon a successful interview, Preci Spark’s application process requests that a basic criminal record may be carried out.Essential Requirements: Minimum 10 years’ CNC machining experience, including significant hands-on work with 5-axis mill/turn machiningMinimum 5 years’ CAM programming experience (Siemens NX preferred, or Fusion 360, Mastercam, Edgecam)Minimum 5 Years of multi axis EDM/WEDM experience. Proven toolmaking experience – including design and manufacture of fixtures and jigsAbility to program, set, and operate CNC machines independently from engineering drawings and 3D modelsStrong knowledge of GD&T, tolerancing, materials, and toolingHealth , Safety and Environment compliance.Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven production environmentPreferred Experience: CAM programming using Siemens NXExperience with Mazatrol, Fanuc, and Heidenhain control systemsBackground in high-spec industries such as aerospace, defence, or medicalSkilled in CMM use and high-accuracy measuring equipmentFamiliar with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practicesWhat We Offer: £22.50 per hour + regular overtimeRotating AM/PM shifts Mon to Weds 6.00am to 2.00pm – 2.00pm to 10.00pm, Thurs 6.00am to 1.00pm – 1.00pm to 8.00pm, Fri 6.00am to 12.00pm – 12.00pm to 06.00pmSecure full-time position in a stable and growing companyAccess to modern CNC technology and toolingOngoing training and opportunities for career progressionBenefits Hub Package (including Private GP access, a range of discounted products and services, including shopping vouchers, gift cards and gym memberships.
