ZERO HOURS CONTRACT - COVER Housekeeper/ cleaner - Nursery School

Are happy to commute to N3 2SY for a 4.5 hour shift each day.Already have an Enhanced DBS on the Update system. We are looking for two housekeepers a day to each work a 4.5 hour shift ( 16.30- 21.00) to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained throughout the nursery and support the smooth running of the nursery during the day by working closely with management. Duties include Clean and tidy all assigned rooms and areas according to established standardsVacuum, sweep and mop floorsDust and polish furniture and fixturesClean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, shower, and sinksEmpty rubbish and recycling and replace garbage bagsClearing up after mealtimesRestock suppliesMaintain laundry dailyReport any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisorExperience - Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed. Please note this position must undergo an enhanced DBS check. Role: Ensure excellence in housekeeping sanitation, safety, comfort and aesthetics for the children, staff and parents at the nursery.Ensure proper communication with management on any areas which need repairs.Ensure all equipment is maintained and used correctly.Maintain regular inventory and checking and thorough stock takes.Maintain cleaning checks.Ensure all chemicals and cleaning equipment is stored correctly and not left lying around.Requirements: - Must have excellent customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of cleanliness - Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods of time Dress Code: Hair is to be tied back and presentable at all times.Non-ripped presentable clothing to be worn.Inside and outside shoes are to be worn where appropriate.No fake nails or chipped nail varnishIf you have the necessary skills and experience for this position, we would love to hear from you.
