Position: Project Manager, Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) Engineering Location: Bracknell, UK Company Description We are a leading engineering services company with a proven track record of high quality, customer focused project delivery for over 130 years. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CSA Senior Engineer to join our engineering team with over 130 years of delivering high-quality, customer-focused projects. As a CSA Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution and delivery of diverse mechanical engineering projects. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the continued growth and reputation of our company as a world-class engineering contractor. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Review and revise (as required) the establishment and implementation of the Site QC program with subcontractors and monitor their conformanceInspect new works performed in the CSA scope of work Attend Quality Control (or quality control portion of weekly CSA constructing) meeting with the construction team during the life cycle of the projectCoordinate required tests, inspections and demonstrations with client or any other authority having jurisdictionInspect purchased and equipment arriving at the site to ensure conformance with the requirements of the Contract/Specification or Purchase OrderMonitor the repair or reconstruction of rejected work and document corrective action and preventing action Assist sub-contractors in the development of repair procedures. Co-ordinate with 3rd party inspection to ensure that all required testing has been performed and that acceptable results have been achievedAdvise field staff of quality and deficiencies detected during “in-progress” inspection and assists and advises on any requirements and remedial actions“Track and chase” to closure open defects in line with the project schedule. Responsibility of Site Work Documentation of Conformance and Inspections for the entire project’s periodCoordinate with the companies “turn over team” that the O&M manual etc. is always in line with the requirement, as specified in ContractAssist with the completion of required inspections/walkdowns related documentation with assigned certifier, design teams and subcontractorsReview and coordinate all material test reports in conjunction with Structural Engineer and Site Engineer, ensuring all non-conformances are identified and closed out to the satisfaction of the Structural Engineer and Contracts Manager in a timely mannerManage and coordinate all CSA activities on siteLead and interface with CSA contractors and subcontractorsMonitor progress against programme and report to senior managementControl budgets, variations, and change management related to CSA scopeEnsure works are delivered to required quality standardsEnforce HSE regulations and local building complianceCoordinate with MEP and other project disciplines Skills and Requirements: Relevant third level engineering qualification essentialMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar senior role requiredFamiliarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other relevant engineering technologies.Familiarity with the Contract Scope of Work, Drawings, Specifications and Codes and Standards requiredExcellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.Understanding of relevant local codes, regulations, and safety standards in mechanical engineering.Ability to prioritize tasks and work to tight deadlinesAbility to liaise with others and work well as part of a team Applications: Interested parties should apply here and/or mail colinodonnell@joneseng.com Benefits We offer a competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
