Graphic Design Internship

RENATA BRENHA stands as a Latin American female voice within ready-to-wear fashion, researching artisanal techniques and intuitive methods to regain the human aspect in design. The mixed cultural landscape of Latin America informs both the brand’s aesthetics and its approach. Our textiles are largely developed in-house through artisanal techniques and carefully selected materials, including materials that would otherwise be considered waste. The brand aims to push sustainable methods and craftsmanship to develop a creative practice able to respond to the collective challenges of our time. This placement is an opportunity to gain experience within an independent fashion brand and develop an understanding of the creative and strategic processes behind its visual identity, communication and marketing. You will work closely with the studio team, following projects from initial concept through to delivery and taking part in creative discussions and feedback sessions. Responsibilities Your involvement will be shaped around the studio’s needs as well as your interests and strengths, with scope to contribute creatively while developing practical industry experience. Our aim is for the placement to provide meaningful experience and an understanding of how creative projects are developed within an independent fashion brand. The role will include: • Brand, Graphics & Textile Print: Contribute to the evolution of RENATA BRENHA’s visual language, creating graphic assets across digital, social, presentations and print, as well as exploring original prints and graphics for textiles and garments. • Creative Projects & Collaborations: Help develop brand decks, collaboration and campaign concepts, from visual research and mood boards through to final presentation. • Digital & Web: Play an active role in the relaunch of our webstore and its digital campaign, developing content and visual assets across different formats. • Creative Studio: Work closely with the team across live branding, communication and marketing projects, gaining experience of how ideas develop from concept through to delivery. Desired Skills • Currently studying or recently graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media or a related field. • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; Premiere, After effects are a plus. • Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour and composition, with a good visual sensibility and attention to detail. • A strong interest in fashion, art and contemporary visual culture, with an interest in branding, digital communication and creative strategy. • Experience or an interest in website design and digital experiences is desirable. • A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently, contribute ideas and respond positively to feedback. Placement Details Period : Approximately three months, starting as soon as possible. Days : 2–3 days per week. Hours : 10am–5pm.
