We are committed to providing an outstanding British curriculum education in a nurturing and dynamic international environment. --- Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to students in KG/Cycle 1, in accordance with the British curriculum. Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning and progress of students. Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic growth. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community. --- Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a directly related subject. A Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent, leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the UK. Valid teaching license or certification from your country of origin. Relevant First Aid certification is desirable. --- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2-3 years of full-time, post-qualification teaching experience specifically within KG or Cycle 1 (EYFS/Key Stage 1) in a British curriculum school. Demonstrable experience teaching children aged 3-7 years. Prior experience in an international school setting is a distinct advantage. --- Skills Required: Technical Skills: Proficiency in integrating educational technology effectively into classroom practice. Strong organizational and classroom management skills that foster a productive learning environment. Ability to use assessment data to inform teaching and track student progress. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Soft Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for early years and primary education. Proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students. Collaborative team player with a positive and proactive attitude. Adaptability, resilience, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of working in the UAE context. --- Curriculum Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and successful practical experience of implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework. Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum for England (Key Stage 1) learning objectives, pedagogical approaches, and assessment methodologies. Proven ability to design and deliver creative and rigorous lessons aligned with British curriculum standards. --- UAE-Specific Requirements: Ability to successfully obtain ADEK (Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge) teacher licensing and approvals upon appointment. Compliance with all ADEK policies, regulations, and guidelines related to school operations, curriculum delivery, and safeguarding. Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary UAE visa and employment permits. Respect for local culture, customs, and traditions within the UAE.
