Freelance Event Operations Manager Ticketing, Registration, Security & Traffic Management 1 Billion Followers Summit 2027 Role Overview We are looking for an experienced freelance Event Operations Manager to oversee all ticketing, registration, security, and traffic management operations for the 1 Billion Followers Summit 2027. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, appointed agencies, venue management, government authorities, and operational stakeholders to ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival through departure. Key Responsibilities Ticketing & Registration ● Lead the overall ticketing and registration workstream for the Summit. ● Coordinate with the appointed ticketing and registration agency. ● Review and optimize the guest registration journey. ● Develop registration workflows for VIPs, speakers, partners, media, exhibitors, and general attendees. ● Oversee badge production, distribution, and accreditation processes. ● Ensure registration service levels are maintained and queues are minimized. ● Coordinate self-service kiosks and on-site registration operations where applicable. ● Monitor daily registration reports and attendance figures. ● Resolve on-site registration issues in real time. Security & Traffic Management ● Coordinate and lead security and traffic marshal agencies. ● Liaise with Dubai Police, RTA, venue management, and relevant authorities as needed. ● Oversee crowd flow, access control, VIP arrivals, parking, and traffic operations. ● Ensure all operational and safety procedures are implemented throughout the event. ● Manage shuttle and transport logistics where applicable. ● Ensure pedestrian movement is safely managed. ● Monitor congestion points and implement operational improvements. ● Coordinate emergency vehicle access routes. Operations ● Attend planning meetings and site visits. ● Develop operational timelines and action trackers. ● Coordinate rehearsals and operational readiness. ● Act as the main point of contact for all assigned operational workstreams. ● Manage on-site operations during setup, event days, and dismantling. Requirements ● Proven experience managing large-scale events, conferences, or summits. ● Strong background in ticketing, registration, security, or event operations. ● Excellent stakeholder and project management skills. ● Experience working with government entities and multiple vendors is preferred.
