Part-Time Senior Bookkeeper (South London) About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our client on a part-time, self-employed basis. You will take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping function while providing valuable support across the wider finance department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, taking ownership and adding real value to a business. Alongside the core bookkeeping responsibilities, you will play an important role in improving financial processes, strengthening controls and helping to drive greater efficiency and accuracy across the finance function. Key Responsibilities: Full bookkeeping duties VAT return preparation and submission Credit control Inventory management Bank reconciliations Purchase and sales ledger management Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with month-end processes Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper Experience preparing and submitting VAT returns Excellent credit control skills Ability to work independently while supporting the Financial Controller Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Location: London (onsite) Commitment: 2 full days per week Start Date: ASAP Rate: £22.50 per hour (Self-Employed) This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional seeking a flexible, part-time role with an immediate start.
