Shuttering Carpenter

Location: Birmingham Salary: Competitive rates (CIS or Umbrella PAYE) Employment Type: Full-Time, Freelance Role Overview: We are currently seeking experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join our team in Birmingham. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in shuttering and formwork carpentry, with a proven track record of working on large-scale RC frame projects. You must have good experience in carpentry and core work. Key Responsibilities: Shuttering and Formwork: Construct and dismantle shuttering and formwork for concrete structures, ensuring precision and compliance with project specifications. Reading Drawings: Interpret and work from technical drawings, ensuring that all measurements and alignments are accurate. Material Handling: Select and prepare the appropriate materials for shuttering and formwork, ensuring they are ready for concrete pouring. Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, making adjustments as necessary to achieve the best results. Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. To Be Successful You Must Have: Valid CSCS Card BBV CARD Proof of right to work in the UK. Be physically fit for duties around a construction site. Be reliable and punctual. Hard working. Respectful. A good team player. Previous experience as a Formwork Carpenter. Key Skills and Qualifications: NVQ Carpenter. Formwork Carpentry: 2 years (Preferred). Able to operate in a flexible and adaptable manner and work as part of a team. Open to attending training programmes to increase individual skills and knowledge.
