Social Worker - MASH TeamLocation: HP20 1UA, Buckinghamshire Rate: £38 per hour Umbrella Job Reference: EBS18545 Contract: Temporary Team: Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the MASH Team in Buckinghamshire, based in the HP20 1UA area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker with strong safeguarding experience who is confident working in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment. The RoleAs a MASH Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing safeguarding concerns, gathering and analysing information, and making informed decisions about the appropriate level of intervention and support for children and families. You will work closely with partner agencies, including police, health, education and other professionals, to identify and manage risk effectively. Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake assessments of safeguarding referrals and information.Analyse information from multiple agencies to identify risk and need.Make evidence-based recommendations regarding appropriate interventions.Work collaboratively with partner agencies within the MASH environment.Ensure children's voices and lived experiences remain central to decision-making.Maintain accurate and timely case records.Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and escalate risks where required.Participate in strategy discussions and multi-agency planning.Work in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and safeguarding procedures.RequirementsSocial Work England registration.Relevant Social Work qualification.Previous experience within children's social care and safeguarding.MASH, referral and assessment, or frontline safeguarding experience is highly desirable.Strong assessment, analytical and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary environment.Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the required checks.Why Apply?£38 per hour UmbrellaBased in HP20 1UA, BuckinghamshireOpportunity to work within a well-established MASH service.Valuable multi-agency safeguarding experience.Supportive and professional working environment.Excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker seeking their next contract.Eden Brown Synergy is an equal opportunities employer.
