Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Joiner to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing high-quality wooden structures and fixtures across various projects. Your expertise will contribute to building durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environments.

Duties
Fabricate custom wood components using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques to meet project specifications
Assemble structural elements such as frameworks, cabinetry, and fixtures with precision and attention to detail
Install wooden structures on-site, including roofing components, interior fittings, and exterior features
Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to transport materials and completed sections during construction projects
Conduct construction painting, finishing, and touch-ups to ensure a polished final appearance
Assist with plumbing, masonry, or electrical tasks as needed to support integrated building systems
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or related trades with a strong understanding of fabrication and assembly processes
Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and measuring devices
Skilled in operating power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and nail guns
Knowledge of roofing techniques, construction painting, plumbing basics, masonry work, and electrical experience is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces when required
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Valid relevant certifications or training in carpentry or joinery is preferred

Pay: £16.17-£26.13 per hour
