Job Description
Control and monitor all material movements including receiving, storing, issuing, transferring, and returning materials.
Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, packing lists, and technical specifications.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory transactions are updated in the ERP system.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment requirements to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
Ensure proper storage, preservation, labeling, and identification of materials in accordance with company procedures and vendor recommendations.
Maintain material traceability and ensure all supporting documentation, certificates, and inspection records are properly controlled and filed.
Conduct periodic inventory counts, stock reconciliations, and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
Investigate and report material discrepancies, shortages, damages, and non-conformances.
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, construction, and maintenance teams to ensure timely material availability.
Generate inventory, material status, and stock movement reports for management review.
Support project material tracking from receipt through final installation and handover.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, quality requirements, and material management procedures.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in material control, inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain activities within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or EPC industry.
Experience working on construction, commissioning, maintenance, shutdown, or turnaround projects is preferred.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or equivalent.
